Here's another idea: Listen to different genres that you dont know how to make, that is something enjoyable to listen to for you. And if you have a midi keyboard that can hook up to synths that you have, play around with it and you'll get something.
But one thing that really sucks, is that most of my inspiration comes from school when i zone out, and then i forget all the great shit when i come home ^^. Also, one of my songs was an inspiration from me taking a dumo :P

Really liked the melodies. They are original as well. The only problem i found that was kind of annoying was the mastering problem, not really smooth and making everything clutter.
That's pretty much all i could say, so keep it up ^^

Actually i mastered this with 3 different sets of speakers and 2 different headphones.
Maybe its your speakers/headphones?

I love this progression. The trumpets were really nicely put together. The solo was really nice and smooth and great to listen to over and over again. Really nice drums as well, had a very jazz feel to it. Nice job on everything dude, keep it up.

Nice trancey melodies you got here. The arp you used had a really good airy feeling. In the drums, i didn't really liked that huge pan effect, got kind of annoying. The mastering of the track wasn't well put to gether as well, because the bass was somewhat overpowering the whole thing.
Overall: Reallyn nice stuff.
I would love to collab on this track btw, i use fl 8, my hotmail is neomusic1@hotmail.com and my aim is tm se7en, sence you said you are close to removing this project.

Agreed, in the mix already I have 2:00 or so less pan, more mastering. As of the collab, I'll keep in contact. I use Reason 3.0 / 4.0 and make all of my own sounds... =P

I was sitting on my piano playing around chord progressions, and i play THIS EXACT ONE. Not in a similar pattern you dude, but same chords at the places. And i didn't listen to this song before hand.
Thought that was kind of ironic.
On to the song. Good pause you had before the climax, wasn't really a strong one, like didn't make me want to hear more of the main melodies. The drums could've been stronger and less of a su sound in stead of a full sound if you know what i mean. The ending was kind of abrupt as well, i thought there was gonna be more added on to it, but nothing else was there. So that kind of left a hole in the song.
Other than that, great stuff. Mind checking out my submission for the mac? 'scalled Airless Gravity.

Haha, well the same progression can sound entirely different when you play it differently. Meh, just change the key and you'll be alright. Thanks for the review here. The climax wasn't as good as it could have been; I may go back and change it. I guess it just depends on the amount of time that I have. I also have yet to add any compression on the drums or even really mix it. After spending so much time on the overall song, I sort of just left the drums as is and uploaded. Again, if I get time, it's on my list of things to do. I'll stop by and check out your song when I get a chance later tonight.

I quite enjoyed it actually. How ever, the intro was kind of random, and there were some EQing problems with the pads. The melody was nice, a happy tune, and it got stuck in my head ^^. Good luck in the contest man. 4/5 - 9/10.

I like that chill feel. Good violin melody, nice beat. But then again, it was kind of empty, and it can be a lot better with pads and such, unless there is a rapper over this beat. Nice job.

The melodies are fine, but the mixing wasn't really clear. And it was a bit boring but it is only 2 minutes long, so i guess that's fine.

thank you very much... i spent only like 2 hours on this one.. im surprised its on the top 30 but im very glad it is there.. check out dreamwalker or the pine dexterity attack or HIT ME Organ donor. thse arent boring at all.:)

Your synths are great as always, but the bass seems a little bit distorted.. unless it's suppose to be xD Great job man ^^.
